Position: Quality Assurance Officer
\nTerms of employment: Full time
\nHope Enterprise University College (HEUC) is a higher education institution in Ethiopia, which is housed on five hectares of a beautiful, green and clean campus conductive for teaching-learning process and having student and faculty friendly environment.
\nCurrently the university college is trying to recruit the right candidate who is befitting for the position of Quality Assurance Officer; accordingly, any interested professional who can meet the following criteria can apply for the position.
\nDuties and Responsibilities:
\nDevelops benchmarks of academic excellence drawing on government policies and global standards of academic quality in teaching, publication and research.<\/p>\n
Leads the development of quality assurance policy, strategies and manual.
\nEnsuring the implementation of the quality assurance policy and strategies
\nMonitors and evaluates the academic subsystem on regular basis and submits recommendations for improvements and reports.
\nDesigns and implements Monitoring and Evaluation systems and activities of the relevant units\/divisions of the UC.
\nProduces its own guideline or working documents and implement when approved
\nConducts institutional quality audit and ensuring the development of self-evaluation (SED) document on timely basis.
\nFollows up, monitors and evaluates annual performance of HEUC and major units.
\nConducts institutional quality audit and ensures the development of self-evaluation document.
\nConfirms that the quality assurance process of HEUC complies with national and international accepted standards.
\nDevelops quality assurance plan and submit same for approval.
\nCoordinates and supports the quality assurance efforts of every academic and administrative units of the UC.
\nUndertakes planned and systematic review of the instructional process at the UC to determine acceptable standards of education are being maintained and enhanced.
\nCoordinates and conducts quality assurance training for the staff of the UC.
\nSubmits a periodic report on the activities of the Office.
\nUpholds to the values, vision and mission of HEUC and ensures the advancement of the UC.
\nPerforms all other duties assigned by immediate supervisor to him\/her<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications: \u2013<\/p>\n
MA in Education, Educational Management, Educational Leadership and Related Fields, from a recognized university
