\nDUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES
\n\u2022 Design and develop nutritionally balanced feed formulas for different animal species, considering their age, health, and production goals (e.g., milk, eggs, meat).
\n\u2022 Evaluate the nutritional content of f ed ingredients, conducting laboratory tests to
\nassess nutrient levels like protein, fat, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
\nResearch new ingredients or additiv s to improve feed efficiency, reduce costs, or
\nenhance animal health and productivity.
\n\u2022 Monitor ani al performance and health, adjusting feed formulations b sed on growth
\nrates, production data, or veterinary advice.
\n\u2022 Ensure that all feed formulations comply with local, national, and international regulations regarding animal feed production.
\n\u2022 Analyze feed ingredient osts and seek ways to optimize feed production while maintaining nutritional quality.
\n\u2022 Provide advice and guidance to customers regarding best practices in feeding animals
\nfor optimal health and performance.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
A bachelor\u2019s degree in animal l nutrition, animal scie ce, agricultural science, or a related field is typically required.
\nPractical experience in animal nutrition, feed formulation, or veterinary care.
\n2-3 years of exp rience in agricultural production, veterinary care, or feed manufacturing.
\nStrong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, an a deep understanding of anima
\nphysiology, nutrition, and dietary needs are essenti l. Experience with data analysis soft are and laboratory testing methods is also val able, along with good communication skills for advising and working with clients. Processing the ability to interact with all staff levels in a fast paced environment, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Must be task oriented, an excellent team member and able to juggle multiplepriorities with shifting agendas
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook<\/p>\n
