We are seeking a highly competent Human Resource Officer to support our HR initiatives and ensure adherence to Ethiopian labor laws and best practices.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n 1. HR Initiatives &amp; Systems Development:<\/p>\n<p>Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.<br \/>\nAssist in the preparation of job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the recruitment process.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Employment Process Management:<\/p>\n<p>Oversee all aspects of the employment process, from recruitment to onboarding.<br \/>\nProvide counseling on HR policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Legal Compliance &amp; Working Conditions:<\/p>\n<p>Review employment and working conditions to ensure full compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.<br \/>\nMaintain strict confidentiality of all employee information and HR records.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Accurate Employee Record-Keeping:<\/p>\n<p>Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records for each employee, including personal details, employment history, attendance, payroll, performance reviews, training, and benefits.<br \/>\nEnsure record retention complies with Ethiopian legal requirements (typically a minimum of five years).<\/p>\n<p> 5. Performance Evaluation:<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement a standardized process for evaluating employee performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, work quality, teamwork, punctuality, and initiative.<br \/>\nSchedule evaluations on an annual, quarterly, or probationary basis, and document all evaluation details securely.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Bonus &amp; Salary Increment Policies:<\/p>\n<p>Establish a performance-based bonus system (including performance bonuses, annual bonuses, profit-sharing, and festival bonuses).<br \/>\nDefine clear guidelines for salary increments based on annual performance reviews, promotions, and cost-of-living adjustments.<\/p>\n<p> 7.
