The Chief of Finance and Admin is responsible for efficient utilization of Finance, Investment, human capital and non-human resources of the company. She\/he is responsible for managing and leading all financial matters of the company, procurement and purchase of both fixed and consumable assets, custody of the warehouse and proper disposition of scrap as per the company\u2019s rules and procurers. The Director is expected to play a key role in ensuring all financial, human and property transactions, to be in line with the country\u2019s law and the company\u2019s rules and procedures
\nKey Responsibilities
\n 1. Strategic Financial & Investment Management<\/p>\n
Financial Strategy: Formulate and implement long-term financial plans and fundraising mechanisms to ensure company growth.
\nInvestment Appraisal: Evaluate new investment opportunities and capital equipment acquisitions using financial tools such as Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
\nReporting & Audit: Prepare and submit financial reports based on IFRS to the CEO, Board of Directors, and government bodies. Facilitate annual external audits to ensure a fair presentation of the company\u2019s financial position.
\nTreasury & Cash Flow: Manage bank accounts, oversee cash flow, and ensure optimum liquidity for operations.<\/p>\n
2. Human Resource Management & Talent Development<\/p>\n
Talent Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to attract, motivate, and retain competent employees.
\nCapacity Building: Lead the company\u2019s training and development initiatives to enhance staff skills and productivity.
\nCareer Pathing: Design competency-based career paths and succession planning for employees.
\nCulture & Ethics: Promote a culture of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and ensure the company\u2019s identity is rooted in ethical business operations.<\/p>\n
3. Operational Control & Resource Optimization<\/p>\n
Procurement & Logistics: Oversee procurement and logistics to ensure compliance with national laws and company policies.
\nAsset Management: Supervise the inspection, custody, and issuance of company property, including the efficient disposition of scrap materials.
\nBudgetary Support: Advise departments on budget preparation, accounts control, and reasonable resource allocation (human, financial, and facilities).<\/p>\n
4. Compliance, Risk, and Policy Development<\/p>\n
Policy Formulation: Prepare and update the company\u2019s Financial, HR, and Property manuals in accordance with changing legislation and business needs.
\nTax Compliance: Ensure all tax-related obligations (VAT, Income Tax, etc.) are declared and paid accurately and timely to avoid legal penalties.
\nRisk Management: Identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risks to protect the company\u2019s assets and reputation.<\/p>\n
5. Systems, Digitization, and Performance<\/p>\n
Information Systems: Establish and maintain modern Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and ERP tools to improve data accuracy and inter-departmental integration.
\nPerformance Management (KPIs): Design and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of the company\u2019s internal work processes.
\nChange Management: Lead and support organizational changes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall productivity.<\/p>\n
6. Leadership & Representation<\/p>\n
Executive Collaboration: Actively interact with other departments to provide technical assistance in bid management, collection, and financial awareness.
\nCompany Representation: Act as the public face of the company in the absence of the DCEO and attend high-level strategic meetings as directed.<\/p>\n

Academic Qualification<\/p>\n
A minimum of a ACCA\/MBA\/ MSC\/MA\/ BA in Business Administration, HRM, Finance and Accounting or related fields with good IT background\/knowledge<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
