Job Summary:-The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and managing the day-to-day human resource operations of the company, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, training coordination, compliance, and employee engagement activities. The role ensures effective implementation of HR policies and procedures while supporting organizational goals and maintaining a positive work environment.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities
\nRecruitment & Onboarding<\/p>\n
Coordinate the full recruitment process from vacancy announcement to onboarding.
\nScreen CVs, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates.
\nPrepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documents.
\nFacilitate orientation programs for new employees.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations<\/p>\n
Maintain positive employee relations and address employee concerns professionally.
\nSupport disciplinary procedures and grievance handling processes.
\nEnsure compliance with company policies and labor laws.<\/p>\n
HR Administration<\/p>\n
Maintain and update employee personal files and HR databases.
\nPrepare HR letters including transfer, promotion, warning, confirmation, and experience letters.
\nMonitor attendance, leave management, and employee records.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
Assist in implementing performance appraisal processes.
\nFollow up probation evaluations and performance reviews.
\nSupport managers in setting performance objectives and improvement plans.<\/p>\n
Training & Development<\/p>\n
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
\nMaintain training records and follow up training evaluations.<\/p>\n
Compensation & Benefits<\/p>\n
Support payroll preparation by providing accurate employee data.
\nCoordinate employee benefits administration including insurance and leave balances.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Reporting<\/p>\n
Ensure HR practices comply with labor law and company policies.
\nPrepare periodic HR reports and workforce statistics.
\nMaintain confidentiality of employee information.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualification and Skills
\nEducation:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field.<\/p>\n
Experience: <\/p>\n
Minimum 3\u20135 years of relevant HR experience in a corporate environment.<\/p>\n
Skills & Competencies<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of HR operations and Ethiopian labor law.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nGood organizational and problem-solving abilities.
\nAbility to handle confidential information professionally.
\nStrong recruitment and employee relations experience.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements<\/p>\n
Experience in corporate companies is advantageous.
