\nHealth Development and Anti Malaria Association (HDAMA), has been re-registered with Proclamation No. 1113\/2009 as not for profit, nongovernmental and local organization committed to prevent and control the spread of malaria, HIV\/AIDs, climate related and communicable diseases, and reproductive health problems.
\nJob Summary:
\nThe Project Accountant is responsible for managing financial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role involves collaborating with project coordinator and Sub-sub Recipients (SSR) and stakeholders to monitor project costs, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. The Project Accountant will prepare detailed and consolidated financial reports, track expenditures, and assist in the preparation of project budgets, ensuring that all financial metrics are aligned with Association\u2019s goals.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
\nMonitor project expenses and ensure adherence to financial plans.
\nPrepare regular financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
\nCollaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
\nConduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost savings.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\nProven experience in project accounting or financial management.
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nknowledge of Quick book, Microsoft Excel and ERP
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nFour (4) years relevant experience in the NGO setup.
