The AR Accountant will manage incoming payments, properly tracking them into the system to maintain accurate bookkeeping records and deliver monthly and quarterly revenue reports while building customer relationships that tighten payment times through positive outreach.Record and process account receivables and incoming collections in compliance with financial policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
\nGenerate accounting statements and reports, sales.
\nHandling DLO Records on a daily basis.
\nMaintaining reconciled scanned files on Teams (DLO, Return documents, Deposit slips)
\nSuccessful engagement with credit customers over phone calls for cheque collections
\nPosting cheque collections and managing credit customers\u2019 accounts on Peachtree
\nPreparation of cheque collection reports<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Minimum of BA degree in accounting and finance from a recognized university
\nExperience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work Understanding of Accounting Rules and procedures
\nTechnical skills: strong financial knowledge and skills, analytical skill
\nStrong computer skills (Accounting software, Microsoft Excel)
