Job Summary:\u2013 The Corporate Enterprise Solutions and Applications Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise-level software, applications and solutions across the Kerchanshe Group and its sister companies. This role reports directly to the Director, Information Technology and requires a deep understanding of the business objectives, technical landscape, and strategic priorities of the entire corporate group.
\nMain Duties and Responsibilities
\nERP Strategy & Execution<\/p>\n
Lead the end-to-end execution of ERP initiatives across manufacturing, distribution, and construction sectors, ensuring alignment with the IT Director\u2019s strategic roadmap.
\nTranslate business requirements into scalable ERP configurations, process flows, and governance frameworks tailored to Ethiopian operational realities.
\nOversee ERP module rollouts (Finance, HR, Asset, Quality, Procurement, Inventory) with full documentation, sample data, SOPs, and compliance mapping.<\/p>\n
System Integration & Optimization<\/p>\n
Coordinate integration of ERP with CRM, BI, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems across subsidiaries and business units.
\nEnsure data consistency, traceability, and auditability across modules, entities, and fiscal calendars.
\nCollaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure ERP performance, uptime, and data protection.<\/p>\n
Data Governance & Compliance<\/p>\n
Design and enforce master data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules across entities and modules.
\nEnsure ERP configurations support IFRS-compliant reporting, asset traceability, and operational audit readiness.
\nMonitor system usage, data quality, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations.<\/p>\n
Implementation Oversight & Support<\/p>\n
Manage ERP consultants, developers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, local adaptation, and high demonstration standards.
\nLead UAT planning, issue resolution, and post-go-live support, ensuring smooth transition and user adoption.
\nMaintain risk registers, change logs, and escalation protocols for ERP-related issues.<\/p>\n
Project Management & Reporting<\/p>\n
Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to manage ERP timelines, budgets, and milestones.
\nPrepare dashboards, progress reports, and executive briefs for the IT Director and transformation committees.
\nAlign ERP activities with seasonal business cycles, resource availability, and strategic priorities.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Engagement & Training<\/p>\n
Facilitate cross-functional workshops, committee reviews, and feedback loops to validate ERP designs and governance.
\nDevelop training guides, user manuals, and onboarding materials for functional teams.
\nAct as a liaison between business units, IT leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment and accountability<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Education:- <\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
\nMaster\u2019s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering ,Enterprise Architecture, or Technology Management is strongly preferred.<\/p>\n
Experience :-<\/p>\n
Proven 10+\/8+ (BSC\/MSC) years of progressive experience in enterprise systems implementation, including ERP, CRM, and BI platforms across manufacturing, distribution, and construction sectors.
\n3+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional ERP teams, consultants, and multi-phase rollouts<\/p>\n
Proven success in:-<\/p>\n
End-to-end ERP lifecycle execution: from process mapping and data migration to go-live and post implementation suppor
\nMulti-entity, multi-product environments with complex operational governance and compliance needs
\nDigital transformation initiatives that align IT strategy with business growth and regulatory frameworks
\nExperience with managing and maintaining ERP and software systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with specific technologies and platforms commonly used in the organization\u2019s industry, such as ERP, is also beneficial (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferable).
\nCertified in Financial, manufacturing or SCM as functional consultant is advantages<\/p>\n

\nEnterprise Architecture & Design Governance: Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, layered system design, modular deployment strategies, and scalable integration patterns. Skilled in aligning technical architecture with business strategy and compliance frameworks.
\nEnd-to-End ERP Lifecycle Execution: Extensive experience leading full-cycle ERP programs\u2014from business process mapping, requirements gathering, and \u201cTo-Be\u201d design, through configuration, master data modeling, data migration, UAT, go-live, and post-implementation support.
\nData Management & System Administration: Strong technical foundation in database design, master data governance, ETL processes, and system administration. Adept at ensuring data integrity, traceability, and auditability across modules and entities.
\nProject & Delivery Methodologies: Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies. Skilled in sprint planning, backlog grooming, risk mitigation, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure timely, budget-aligned delivery.
\nCloud & SaaS Expertise: Familiarity with cloud-native ERP deployments, SaaS delivery models, and hybrid infrastructure strategies. Experience with Azure-based services, including integration with Microsoft Power Platform and cloud security governance.
\nCertifications & Platforms: Certified or proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power Apps, and related enterprise platforms. Committed to continuous learning and platform evolution.
\nTechnology Foresight & Innovation: Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging technologies (AI, RPA, IoT, low-code platforms) and translate them into actionable digital transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
