\nJob Summary
\nThe Junior Cupper is responsible for supporting coffee quality evaluation activities through cupping, sample preparation, grading support, and documentation. The role assists in maintaining coffee quality standards and ensuring consistency in flavor, aroma, and overall coffee profile.<\/p>\n
Assist in preparing coffee samples for cupping and quality evaluation.
\nSupport roasting and grinding activities for cupping sessions.
\nParticipate in coffee tasting and sensory evaluation processes.
\nRecord cupping scores, flavor notes, and quality observations accurately.
\nAssist in identifying coffee defects and inconsistencies.
\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of cupping laboratory equipment and tools.
\nSupport quality control documentation and reporting activities.
\nHelp monitor coffee quality during receiving, processing, and storage stages.
\nFollow company quality standards and safety procedures.
\nAssist senior cuppers during internal and external coffee evaluations.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Degree in Food engineering, or related field.
\nBasic understanding of coffee quality and cupping procedures.
\nStrong sensory and tasting ability.
\nGood communication and teamwork skills.
\nAttention to detail and accuracy.
