We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting business decision-making through financial analysis. This role is suitable for a mid-level accounting professional with strong technical accounting knowledge and proven experience in financial management.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting<\/p>\n
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
\nMaintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
\nEnsure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
\nAnalyze financial data and provide management reports.
\nMonitor accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness.<\/p>\n
Accounts Management<\/p>\n
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
\nReconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
\nMonitor cash flow and support treasury activities.
\nManage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.<\/p>\n
Tax & Compliance<\/p>\n
Prepare and file tax returns and statutory reports.
\nEnsure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
\nSupport internal and external audits.
\nMaintain proper documentation and accounting records.<\/p>\n
Budgeting & Analysis<\/p>\n
Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
\nPerform variance analysis and identify financial trends.
\nProvide recommendations to improve financial performance and cost efficiency.
\nSupport management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.<\/p>\n
Process Improvement<\/p>\n
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
\nAssist in implementing accounting systems and internal controls.
\nEnsure data integrity within accounting and ERP systems.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nEducation<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\nProfessional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.<\/p>\n
Experience
\nMid-Level Accountant<\/p>\n
3\u20135 years of relevant accounting experience.
\nExperience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
