Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
The duties and responsibilities will entail:<\/p>\n
\tClass Teaching
\n\tRole modeling, guidance and counselling, mentoring and motivation of the learners.
\n\tPreparing reports
\n\tEnsuring the safety and security of the learners
\n\tAssist in designing, organizing and facilitating play\/learning activities for learners.
\n\tAssisting in organizing and facilitating play\/learning activities for the learners.
\n\tCaring and nurturing spiritual, moral, social, mental, physical, aesthetic and emotional growth of the learners (holistic development).
\n\tManaging ECDE classes and keeping professional and administrative records (schemes of work, lesson plans, daily programme of activities, attendance registers etc.) and ensuring learners\u2019 safety and security.
\n\tPreparing and developing play\/learning materials.
\n\tAny other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor<\/p>\n
Requirements for appointment:<\/p>\n
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must be in possession of: –<\/p>\n
\tBe a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
\n\tKCPE and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade D+ (Plus) or KCE division 1V at \u2018O\u2019 Level
\n\tCertificate in Early Childhood Development and Education offered by KNEC\/Ministry of Education or its approved equivalent.
\n\tRegistered by the Teachers Service Commission
\n\tCertificate of Good Conduct from National Police Service.
\n\tValid medical report from a recognized government health facility.
\n\tCertificate in computer proficiency\u00a0<\/p>\n
