Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage and support clients in key areas of Precision Agriculture, Soil Analysis, Yield Management, Seed and Crop Protection services and Sustainable Agri Solutions including Traceability and EUDR.
\n\tIntroduce BV innovative technologies to enhance precision agriculture practices among clients.
\n\tDevelop and implement strategies to enhance BV upstream agricultural solutions such as Stock Control and Monitoring to new and potential clients.
\n\tPromote Laboratory Agri testing to new and potential clients in other Agricultural sectors including Horticulture and Aquaculture.
\n\tCollaborate with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs and challenges.
\n\tDrive revenue growth, market penetration, and customer acquisition
\n\tDevelop and execute strategic business plans for the Agri Upstream division
\n\tLead and manage projects from conception through to completion ensuring they meet clients expectations and timelines.
\n\tEstablish partnerships with farmer associations, cooperatives, and agricultural enterprises
\n\tEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
\n\tPromote BV sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote biodiversity within agricultural practices.
\n\tLeverage data analytics to optimize service delivery and client outcomes
\n\tBuild and mentor a high-performing team of agronomists, technicians, and business professionals
\n\tCollaborate with clients R&D teams to foster BV innovation in crop protection and soil health solutions.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMasters Degree in Agriculture or Agronomy with experience in Precision Agriculture, Soil analysis, Crop Management and related fields.
\n\t8+ years of experience in offering upstream agricultural services,
\n\tStrong understanding of precision agriculture, agronomy, and modern farming practices
\n\tStrong understanding of Laboratory testing services to the upstream Agri sector
\n\tDemonstrated ability to lead and manage agricultural projects.
\n\tExcellent problem-solving and client management skills.
\n\tAbility to engage with diverse stakeholders and maintain long-term client relationships.
\n\tProficiency in project management and resource planning.
\n\tProven track record of building and scaling up upstream Agri business.
\n\tDemonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams (technical, sales, operations)
\n\tGood knowledge of P&L management and revenue growth
\n\tStrong business acumen and ability to generate leads and identify strategic areas for growth.
\n\tStrong analytical and decision-making skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced and a highly competitive environment.
\n\tExcellent negotiation and communication skills.
\n\tData-driven decision-making capabilities<\/p>\n
