You will build pipeline, nurture customer relationships, and work closely with technical and delivery teams to convert prospects into long-term clients.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify and qualify new business opportunities across target markets and verticals.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales targets and KPIs.<br \/>\n\tConduct prospecting (cold outreach, networking, events, referrals) and manage sales cycle from lead to close.<br \/>\n\tPresent product\/service value propositions, create tailored proposals, and lead negotiations.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate with pre-sales\/technical teams to design solutions, demo products, and prepare SOWs.<br \/>\n\tMaintain CRM with accurate pipeline, activity logs, forecasts, and account information.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain long-term relationships with clients and channel partners; upsell and cross-sell services.<br \/>\n\tTrack market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs; provide feedback to product and marketing teams.<br \/>\n\tRepresent the company at industry events, webinars, and client meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree or diploma in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.<br \/>\n\t2+ years of business development or sales experience \u2014 preferably selling IT products or services.<br \/>\n\tProven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.<br \/>\n\tStrong understanding of IT services (cloud, SaaS, managed services, cybersecurity, infrastructure).<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.<br \/>\n\tComfortable with consultative selling and technical conversations.<br \/>\n\tExperience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales tools.<br \/>\n\tSelf-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently and in teams.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience selling to enterprise customers.<br \/>\n\tExisting network of industry contacts and channel partners.<br \/>\n\tFamiliarity with procurement and RFP processes.<br \/>\n\tTechnical certifications or background in IT solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<\/p>\n<p>\tNew revenue generated and quota attainment.<br \/>\n\tNumber of qualified leads\/opportunities created.<br \/>\n\tPipeline value and conversion rates.<br \/>\n\tAverage deal size and sales cycle length.<br \/>\n\tCustomer retention, upsell rate, and customer satisfaction<\/p>\n<p>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<\/p>\n<p>\tCompetitive base salary (dependent on experience, range between KES. 60,000 to KES. 80,000) + commission\/bonus plan.<br \/>\n\tTraining and professional development budget.<br \/>\n\tFlexible\/remote work options (if applicable).<\/p>\n<p>Send your resume, a short cover letter, and relevant case studies or sales achievements by Wednesday, 11th February 2026 to\u00a0careers@tecflax.co.ke.
