JOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n
The Shop Manager is responsible for overall day-to-day operations of the TechZone store, driving sales growth, managing staff performance, ensuring excellent customer experience, controlling stock, and safeguarding company assets while maintaining TechZone brand standards.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tSales & Revenue Management<\/p>\n
\t\tDrive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (phones, accessories
\n\t\tMonitor sales performance and submit daily sales reports.<\/p>\n
\tStaff Management & Leadership<\/p>\n
\t\tSupervise sales attendants and support staff.
\n\t\tCustomer service and selling skills
\n\t\tPOS systems and payment methods
\n\t\tSet daily targets and conduct morning briefs.
\n\t\tMonitor staff discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professionalism.<\/p>\n
\tCustomer Experience & Service<\/p>\n
\t\tEnsure customers receive friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service.
\n\t\tHandle escalated customer complaints and resolve them promptly.
\n\t\tMaintain a clean, organized, and attractive shop environment.<\/p>\n
\tStock & Inventory Control<\/p>\n
\t\tReceive, verify, and record all stock.
\n\t\tEnsure proper stock storage and display.
\n\t\tConduct daily spot checks and regular full stock counts.
\n\t\tReconcile physical stock with system stock and report discrepancies immediately.
\n\t\tEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
\n\t\tCoordinate with head office on supplies, maintenance, and operational needs.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)<\/p>\n
\tMonthly sales target achievement
\n\tCustomer satisfaction & complaint resolution
\n\tStaff performance and discipline
\n\tCash and stock reconciliation accuracy<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Management, or related field.
\n\tMinimum 2\u20133 years experience in retail management (electronics or phone retail preferred).
\n\tStrong sales and customer service background.
\n\tExperience managing a team and handling stock.<\/p>\n
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n
\tStrong leadership and people-management skills
\n\tExcellent communication and negotiation skills
\n\tHigh integrity and attention to detail
\n\tGood understanding of smartphones, gadgets, and accessories
\n\tBasic computer skills (POS, Excel, inventory systems)
\n\tAbility to meet targets<\/p>\n
