Roles & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tIndependently perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on electric buses
\n\tDiagnose and rectify common EV, electrical, and mechanical faults
\n\tConduct fault-finding and basic diagnostics on:<\/p>\n
\t\tBattery packs
\n\t\tElectric motors and inverters
\n\t\tCharging systems
\n\t\tVehicle control systems<\/p>\n
\tAccurately interpret wiring diagrams, fault codes, and service documentation
\n\tUse diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues
\n\tSupport breakdown recovery, roadside assistance, and field service activities
\n\tRecord all work carried out, including fault findings, parts used, and corrective actions, in company systems
\n\tEscalate complex, recurring, or safety-critical issues to senior technicians and engineering teams
\n\tSupport and guide Level 1 Service Technicians during service and repair activities
\n\tFollow all BasiGo safety procedures, particularly High Voltage (HV) safety standards
\n\tMaintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
\n\tPerform any other reasonable duties required to support service operation<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
\n\tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 hands-on experience working on commercial vehicles (buses, trucks, cars, or industrial EVs).
\n\tStrong understanding of vehicle systems. Experience with electric vehicle (EV) systems is an added advantage.
\n\tProven experience performing independent servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
\n\tFamiliarity with high-voltage vehicle systems and safe working practices.<\/p>\n
