Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tCurriculum Delivery & Lesson Planning
\n\tPlan and deliver structured, engaging, and CBC-aligned lessons tailored to diverse learning needs. Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning materials that support competency-based education and active learning.
\n\tStudent Assessment & Progress Tracking
\n\tConduct continuous formative and summative assessments, maintain accurate academic records, and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents. Use assessment data to adjust instruction and support individual student growth.
\n\tClassroom Management & Student Development
\n\tCreate and maintain a positive, disciplined, and child-friendly learning environment. Foster learners\u2019 social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive and learner-centered teaching approaches.
\n\tParent & Staff Collaboration
\n\tWork closely with fellow teachers and school leadership to share best practices and improve learning outcomes. Engage parents through meetings and communication on learners\u2019 progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
\n\tCurriculum Implementation & Resource Management
\n\tEffectively implement CBC guidelines in classroom practice. Develop, organize, and manage teaching and learning resources, including the use of digital tools where appropriate.
\n\tExtracurricular Engagement
\n\tSupport learners\u2019 holistic growth by participating in and facilitating extracurricular and co-curricular activities, including project-based learning and mentorship.
\n\tProfessional Development & Compliance
\n\tParticipate in professional development programs, CBC training, and school meetings. Ensure full compliance with Teachers Service Commission (TSC) regulations, Ministry of Education policies, and school procedures.<\/p>\n
Key Requirements<\/p>\n
Academic Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Education.
\n\tPrimary Teachers Education (P1) Certificate (mandatory).
\n\tValid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) license (mandatory).
\n\tCBC training certification.<\/p>\n
Relevant Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years of teaching experience in an ECDE environment.
\n\tProven experience in mentoring teachers and coordinating early childhood programs.
\n\tFamiliarity with CBC curriculum implementation and Ministry of Education requirements.<\/p>\n
