The EHS Officer will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the company\u2019s Environment, Health & Safety framework across all projects and operational sites. This role supports safe execution of telecom and engineering activities by ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a strong safety culture among field and office teams.
\n\tThe successful candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and field technicians to proactively manage risks and promote safe work practices.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tImplement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and standards across all operational sites
\n\tConduct site risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections
\n\tEnsure compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety guidelines
\n\tLead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and EHS awareness training for staff and contractors
\n\tInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
\n\tMaintain accurate EHS documentation including permits, reports, audits, and compliance records
\n\tMonitor use of PPE and enforce safe work practices at all times
\n\tSupport emergency preparedness and response planning
\n\tCollaborate with project teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution
\n\tTrack safety KPIs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
\n\tConduct environmental monitoring and ensure proper waste management practices<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field
\n\tNEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional certification preferred
\n\t2+ years\u2019 experience in EHS, preferably within telecommunications, construction, or engineering projects
\n\tKnowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment techniques, and incident investigation procedures
\n\tExperience working in field\/technical environments (towers, fiber, construction sites, etc.)
\n\tStrong report writing, documentation, and analytical skills
\n\tAbility to conduct training and influence safe behaviors across teams
\n\tGood communication and stakeholder management skills
\n\tProficiency in MS Office applications
\n\tWillingness to travel frequently to project sites<\/p>\n
