About the Role:<\/p>\n
Reporting to the\u00a0Head of Finance, the individual will be responsible for preparing accounts and managing financial information. They will be required to prepare and examine financial records, assuring information is up to date and accurate as well as accounting or taxation or focus on more specific areas of the company’s financial department.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tWorking with the Head of finance to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements.
\n\tTo provide support and assistance to the Head of Finance in the development and implementation of standard financial operating procedures.
\n\tTo provide support and assistance to the Head of Finance in regularly reviewing the effectiveness of internal controls covering financial, operational and compliance controls.
\n\tEnter financial transactions into the accounting system on a real-time basis.
\n\tReceive vendor invoices and enter bills into the accounting system.
\n\tAssist in preparation of vendor payments.
\n\tReconcile supplier statements and resolve any differences that might be found.
\n\tEnsure all supporting documentation (including tax compliant invoices) is available and filed correctly.
\n\tCarry out bank reconciliations.
\n\tVerify from BURN pricing and specific customer pricing that details on sales orders are correct.
\n\tPrepare tax compliant invoices based on sales orders and stove shipments.
\n\tRecording payments received from customers.
\n\tPreparing, verifying and sending customer statements.
\n\tKeep track of export documentation and make sure they are filed correctly
\n\tSupport audit process.
\n\tHelp in collecting all required supporting documentation for grant reports when needed.
\n\tHelp with monthly preparation and filing of tax, VAT and other regulatory submissions.
\n\tWorking with the tax department to ensure timely and accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
\n\tSolve any statutory inconsistencies.
\n\tSubmitting financial reports on a timely basis.
\n\tWeekly cash planning.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExperience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is desirable.
\n\tA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a business environment, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing industry.
\n\tStrong leadership and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
\n\tDemonstrated adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively addressing complex financial issues.
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study.
\n\tCPA finalist or ACCA qualification, showcasing a commitment to professional development and expertise in accounting and finance.<\/p>\n
