About the Role<\/p>\n
\tThe Commercial Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data integrity, insight generation, and decision-making across the Commercial Division. The role focuses on\u00a0validating and sense-checking numbers from partnerships, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and identifying gaps or discrepancies in commercial data.
\n\tYou will work closely with the Commercial Operations Manager and the wider team to consolidate data across markets, interrogate its accuracy, and translate it into actionable insights for\u00a0partnership management, business development, and customer journey optimization.
\n\tThis role is ideal for someone who is\u00a0naturally inquisitive, always asking \u201cwhy?\u201d, and eager to uncover insights hidden in the data.<\/p>\n
Data Validation & Analysis<\/p>\n
\tOwn the process of consolidating commercial data from different commercial partners and countries we operate
\n\tRigorously\u00a0sense-check numbers\u00a0(e.g., GWP, product breakdown, renewal rates, invoiced amounts) and identify discrepancies, gaps, or anomalies.
\n\tUse\u00a0SQL and Excel\/BI tools\u00a0to analyse and validate data from our database.
\n\tDevelop clear escalation processes for data corrections and make sure they are adhered to.
\n\tSupport A\/B testing and product\/customer journey experiments by building data pipelines and analyzing results.<\/p>\n
Commercial Operations Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide analytical support for product changes, operational improvements, customer journeys, and partner-related problem-solving.
\n\tWork closely with customer operations and customer experience teams to ensure data informs customer success strategies.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Communication<\/p>\n
\tMaintain partner\u00a0dashboards, reports, and TACO access.
\n\tProvide timely and accurate reporting to account managers, leadership, and partners.
\n\tSupport the creation of ad-hoc analyses and presentation materials for business development and partner meetings.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<\/p>\n

\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in a\u00a0quantitative or business-related field\u00a0(Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, etc.).
\n\t2+ years of experience in\u00a0data analytics, consulting, or commercial operations.
\n\tStrong\u00a0SQL skills\u00a0(must be comfortable writing queries to extract and analyze data).
\n\tProficiency in\u00a0Excel\/Google Sheets\u00a0and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase).
\n\tExcellent numerical sense and attention to detail, with a track record of spotting errors and inconsistencies.
\n\tInquisitive and proactive mindset \u2013 not just reporting numbers, but asking questions and uncovering insights.
\n\tStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
\n\tComfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and managing multiple priorities.<\/p>\n
