Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tBookkeeping:\u00a0Ensure correct invoices for customers have been raised and correct vendor bills have been processed within the credit terms\/contract vendor payment
\n\tFinancial Reports:\u00a0Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements.
\n\tAccounts Payable & Receivable:\u00a0Manage invoice processing, and payments, and reconcile accounts.
\n\tBank Reconciliation:\u00a0Regularly reconcile bank statements with accounting records and resolve discrepancies.
\n\tTax Preparation:\u00a0Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, and prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
\n\tAuditing:\u00a0Support internal and external audits by organizing financial documents.
\n\tAdministrative Support:\u00a0Perform general administrative duties such as filing, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries on the support ticketing system, including petty cash management.
\n\tInternal Controls:\u00a0Support the organization in maintaining the reliability and integrity of financial information through adherence to established policies, procedures, and controls by understanding and actively participating in internal control processes.
\n\tAssisting Senior Accountants:\u00a0Provide backup and support for senior accounting staff.<\/p>\n

\tAccounting Software:\u00a0Proficiency in Accounting tool- NetSuite
\n\tAttention to Detail:\u00a0Accuracy in financial transactions and account reconciliation.
\n\tKenyan Tax Knowledge:\u00a0Understanding of VAT, WHT, PAYE, corporate tax laws, and KRA processes.
\n\tBookkeeping:\u00a0Ability to manage and record financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
\n\tAnalytical Skills:\u00a0Review and interpret financial data to spot discrepancies.
\n\tTime Management:\u00a0Ability to meet deadlines, especially during key periods.
\n\tCommunication:\u00a0Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with team members.

Experience Required:<\/p>\n
\tEducation:\u00a0Bachelor’s in Accounting\/Finance; CPA (Kenya) certification is a prerequisite.
\n\tWork Experience:\u00a0At least 3 years of experience in accounting with experience in accounts payable\/receivable, bank reconciliation, reporting, and payroll.
\n\tAccounting Standards:\u00a0Familiarity with IFRS and Kenyan financial standards.
\n\tAuditing:\u00a0Exposure to internal or external audits.
\n\tTax Knowledge:\u00a0Experience with VAT, WHT, PAYE, and KRA tax filings.<\/p>\n
