The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with the Accounting & Reporting Manager to ensure accurate financial data, provide insights for business decisions,\u00a0 and contribute to the enhancement of finance systems and processes.<\/p>\n
Financial Oversight:<\/p>\n
\tConduct a thorough review of company trial balances for mis-postings, unposted transactions, or other errors, working closely with Country Finance Managers to resolve them.
\n\tTracking investments in subsidy and\u00a0 Intercompany reconciliations, and coordinating settlements with the Treasury Team.
\n\tMonitor month-on-month consistency of account balances and transaction classes.
\n\tTie all opening balances to audited financial statements.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Analytics<\/p>\n
\tPrepare the internal management accounts
\n\tFocus on providing insights into performance metrics, cost analysis and management reporting to CSuite.
\n\tProvide cost analysis per location, activities, projects, staff costs, trend analysis
\n\tPerform the variance analysis and play a key role in performance management, cost control, and operational decision support.
\n\tCan also prepare the detailed budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support strategic decision making.
\n\tTracking investments in subsidy and\u00a0 Intercompany reconciliations
\n\tAdvise on the financial implications of business decisions and develop actionable recommendations.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tAnalyse and manage business risks, including non-compliance costs, ensuring cases are followed up and corrected promptly.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates will have both technical skills in finance, plus alignment with company vision and values. Successful candidates must navigate fast-paced environments with enthusiasm and incredible attention to details.\u00a0 Minimum qualifications include:<\/p>\n
\tA degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics
\n\tAt least 7 years of experience in a busy accounting environment, with Big 4 accounting\/auditing experience as an added advantage.
\n\tStrong knowledge of financial systems
\n\tProven experience in preparing reports and dashboards for senior management.
\n\tDemonstrated experience in automating financial processes.
\n\tProficiency in data management tools, including Power BI and other financial reporting tools.
\n\tFamiliarity with accounting standards and a deep understanding of ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle.
\n\tProject management experience is a plus.
\n\tTechnology-savvy with a proven ability to work with financial models and system implementation.<\/p>\n
