Key Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tPro Advisor certified in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
\n\t5-7 years of full-time bookkeeping experience
\n\tExperience with M&A, valuations, budgeting, and FP&A
\n\tPrior experience at KPMG or Deloitte preferred<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\nBookkeeping<\/p>\n
\tManage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (download, categorize, input, and reconcile transactions)
\n\tPerform quarterly and year-end federal and state payroll tax reporting and sales tax reporting as needed
\n\tPrepare and process year-end tax forms such as 1099s and W2s
\n\tAssist with journal entries and account cleanup to prepare books for tax return preparation<\/p>\n
Buyside Consulting Due Diligence Analysis<\/p>\n
\tReview general ledgers and financial statements for due diligence in consulting engagements
\n\tIdentify unusual general ledger items that may require valuation adjustments
\n\tPrepare post-acquisition analyses to evaluate transaction viability
\n\tConduct comparative analyses on a common size basis to understand the target company\u2019s economic reality
\n\tLearn to prepare valuation calculations under direct supervision<\/p>\n
Skills and Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tExtensive knowledge of accounting and financial principles
\n\tStrong analytical, written, verbal, and listening skills
\n\tDetail-oriented, well-organized, and able to communicate effectively
\n\tExperience with financial modeling using Excel
\n\tAbility to conduct market, industry, and competitive research
\n\tSupport management in buy-side and sell-side consulting engagements
\n\tAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple workstreams
\n\tTeam-oriented mindset, collaborative, and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
