\n\tSupport the implementation of the project portfolio according to project proposals, workplans, and log frames. Implement independently of procedures and activities within their function or core competence as stipulated. Responsible for organizing and delivering tasks in line with priorities and standards.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop and maintain knowledge of the specialist area of work in the delivery of legal protection and durable solutions interventions. 6. Apply initiative in day-to-day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities and standards for the area of work.
\n\tPrepare and develop status reports as required.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure proper archiving of project documents.\u00a0
\n\tContinuously promote ideas for improvement in programming and project implementation.\u00a0
\n\tLiaise and collaborate with NRC colleagues, relevant local authorities and other key stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tImplementation of projects focussed on self-reliance, legal protection and durable solutions targeting both refugees and host communities.\u00a0
\n\tDay-to-day project implementation at field level in developing clear work plans and targets and following up on implementation and engage in regular performance monitoring of projects.\u00a0
\n\tContribute to the development of either monthly, quarterly, annual or status reports including monthly monitoring and evaluation updates
\n\t\u00a0Quality programming, identifying key areas for further follow up, devising strategies and supporting implementation to improve and monitor quality in NRC\u2019s approaches.\u00a0
\n\tMeaningfully engaging project participants to ensure their views inform the design and implementation of NRC\u2019s responses.\u00a0
\n\tConduct project specific technical assessments and research, present recommendations and adapt programme implementation to needs and context.\u00a0
\n\tActively participate in relevant coordination forums including camp level protection, child protection, sexual and gender-based violence, shelter and livelihood working groups and county coordination forums.\u00a0
\n\tIn consultation with the ICLA Specialist, deliver technical training to stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tImplement approaches that promote safe and inclusive programming (SIP) and protection mainstreaming.
\n\t\u00a0Participate in the area level coordination meetings including the monthly programme meetings.\u00a0
\n\tPromote project visibility through preparing and document success stories, human interest stories, or photos Any other tasks assigned by your line-manager; the Programme Manager.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tGeneric professional competencies for this position:\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 3 years of relevant experience within field of expertise, 2 years of experience managing legal protection\/durable solutions projects in complex and volatile contexts
\n\tFamiliarity with international refugee law and human rights law.\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of SPHERE standards and other global humanitarian and protection standards
\n\tPrevious experience from working directly with displacement affected populations
\n\t\u00a0Documented technical competences related to the position\u2019s responsibilities
\n\tExperience in proposal and report writing and excellent computer skills\u00a0
\n\tGood communication skills\u00a0
\n\tProject implementation skills\u00a0
\n\tAbility to resolve individual and group conflicts\u00a0
\n\tAbility to work with minimum supervision and deliver on deadlines\u00a0
\n\tPossess high cultural awareness and sensitivity\u00a0
\n\tFluency in English language both written and verbal<\/p>\n
