{"id":90017,"date":"2026-02-06T08:00:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T08:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/sales-manager-6\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T08:00:48","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T08:00:48","slug":"sales-manager-6","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/sales-manager-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Sales Strategy Development &amp; Leadership:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop, articulate, and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives for Google Workspace, GCP, AI Solutions, Iru and Chromebooks.<br \/>\n\tAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to identify new opportunities and refine strategic positioning.<br \/>\n\tDefine target market segments, ideal customer profiles and value propositions for each product\/service line.<br \/>\n\tSet clear, challenging, yet achievable sales targets, quotas and KPIs for the team and individuals.<br \/>\n\tTranslate high-level company goals into actionable sales plans and initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Team Leadership &amp; Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead, mentor, coach and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven culture.<br \/>\n\tOversee the recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of the sales team.<br \/>\n\tConduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and manage team performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.<br \/>\n\tEmpower the team to execute the defined sales strategies effectively, focusing on lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation and closing deals.<br \/>\n\tAct as an escalation point for the team, providing guidance on complex deals and removing obstacles to success.<\/p>\n<p>Commercial Operations &amp; Oversight:<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and reporting.<br \/>\n\tMonitor sales activities, performance metrics and results, providing regular, insightful reports and updates to the executive team.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with Marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation campaigns, messaging and sales collateral.<br \/>\n\tWork closely with technical\/solutions teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs and are deliverable.<br \/>\n\tContribute to pricing strategies and commercial terms negotiation for key accounts or complex deals.<br \/>\n\tEnsure effective use of CRM and other sales tools for tracking, analysis and reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Partner &amp; Key Account Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key partners (e.g., Google, Iru) to maximize collaboration and mutual success.<br \/>\n\tPotentially engage directly with strategic, high-value clients alongside the sales team when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tProven track record of success in a senior sales leadership or commercial management role within the technology sector.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrable experience developing and implementing successful sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.<br \/>\n\tStrong understanding of and experience selling complex B2B technology solutions, ideally including Cloud (specifically GCP), SaaS (specifically Google Workspace), AI concepts\/solutions, MDM (Mobile Device Management), and\/or hardware (Chromebooks).<br \/>\n\tExcellent leadership, coaching and team management skills with experience building and managing high-performing sales teams.<br \/>\n\tStrategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br \/>\n\tOutstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\tAbility to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.<br \/>\n\tStrong business acumen and financial literacy (understanding margins, pricing, forecasting).<br \/>\n\tProficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.<br \/>\n\tBachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration, BBIT,\u00a0 BSc IT, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>pawait.zohorecruit.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/pawait.zohorecruit.com","_company_name":"Pawa IT Solutions","_company_website":"https:\/\/pawait.africa\/","_company_tagline":"At Pawa IT Solutions, we deliver the promise and offerings of Cloud to businesses and institutions.
