Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offering both inpatient and outpatient services. We are\u00a0seeking\u00a0to recruit a\u00a0Radiographer to join our Radiology Unit within the Clinical Services Department.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This role\u00a0is responsible for\u00a0performing\u00a0diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound examinations\u00a0to support\u00a0accurate\u00a0diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. The position ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centred\u00a0imaging services while\u00a0maintaining\u00a0strict adherence to safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Higher Diploma in\u00a0Medical Imaging Sciences.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of\u00a0three (3) years\u2019 post-internship experience\u00a0in a facility of\u00a0similar size.\u00a0
\n\tValid registration and practising\u00a0license\u00a0from the relevant regulatory body.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Skills Required\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProficiency\u00a0in performing X-ray and ultrasound examinations.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to\u00a0operate, calibrate, and\u00a0maintain\u00a0imaging equipment safely.\u00a0
\n\tStrong understanding of radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.\u00a0
\n\tAccurate documentation and report preparation skills.\u00a0
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred\u00a0approach.\u00a0
\n\tHigh level\u00a0of professionalism, attention to detail, and ethical practice.<\/p>\n
