The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end procurement, importation, logistics, and supply chain operations for a fast-paced, time-sensitive manufacturing business. The role provides strategic and operational oversight across sourcing, purchasing, inventory planning, warehousing, distribution, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSupply Chain\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\tDevelop and implement an integrated supply chain, procurement, and logistics strategy aligned with the company\u2019s growth, production, and operational objectives.
\n\t\tLead end-to-end supply chain planning including demand forecasting, supply planning, and capacity planning to support manufacturing, sales, and project timelines.
\n\t\tDesign and optimize supply chain networks covering sourcing, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
\n\t\tIdentify alternative sourcing markets and suppliers to ensure business continuity and supply resilience.<\/p>\n
\tProcurement\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\tDevelop and execute procurement plans aligned with production schedules and inventory requirements.
\n\t\tForecast procurement and import requirements to support production, sales, and project timelines.
\n\t\tLead strategic sourcing initiatives and long-term supplier partnerships.<\/p>\n
\tInternational Sourcing & Importation<\/p>\n
\t\tManage all international sourcing and supplier relationships.
\n\t\tOversee import documentation, shipping schedules, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery timelines.
\n\t\tEnsure compliance with import regulations, tax requirements, and customs procedures.
\n\t\tCoordinate with clearing agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities, and regulators.<\/p>\n
\tManagement of Supplier & Vendor<\/p>\n
\t\tIdentify, evaluate, appoint, and manage international and local suppliers.
\n\t\tNegotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.
\n\t\tMonitor supplier performance on cost, quality, lead time, service levels, and reliability.
\n\t\tDrive continuous supplier improvement and performance optimization programs.<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Budget Management<\/p>\n
\t\tDevelop and manage the procurement, logistics, and supply chain budget.
\n\t\tMonitor freight, clearing, warehousing, transportation, and inventory holding costs.
\n\t\tDrive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across the supply chain without compromising quality or delivery timelines.<\/p>\n
\tInventory, Warehousing & Distribution Management<\/p>\n
\t\tOversee inventory planning, replenishment cycles, and safety stock levels.
\n\t\tOptimize warehouse operations, storage, picking, and dispatch processes.
\n\t\tEnsure efficient distribution and on-time delivery to production sites and customers.
\n\t\tMinimize stock-outs, overstocking, slow-moving stock, and obsolescence.
\n\t\tEnsure accurate stock records and strong inventory controls.<\/p>\n
\tQuality Assurance & Supplier Compliance<\/p>\n
\t\tEnsure all imported and locally sourced goods meet company specifications and quality standards.
\n\t\tManage supplier quality issues, claims, audits, and corrective actions.
\n\t\tEnforce supplier compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
\tCompliance, Risk & Controls<\/p>\n
\t\tEnsure full compliance with procurement policies, import\/export laws, customs regulations, and statutory requirements.
\n\t\tIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks including shipping delays, supplier dependency, currency exposure, geopolitical risks, and regulatory changes.
\n\t\tEstablish and maintain strong internal controls over procurement, logistics, and inventory processes.<\/p>\n
\tStakeholder Coordination & Business Support<\/p>\n
\t\tWork closely with Finance, Sales, Production, Projects, and Operations teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
\n\t\tProvide regular updates on supply chain performance, shipment status, delivery timelines, and risk exposure.
\n\t\tSupport business planning, budgeting, and growth initiatives.<\/p>\n
\tReporting & Performance Management<\/p>\n
\t\tPrepare integrated supply chain, procurement, and logistics performance reports for senior management.
\n\t\tTrack and report KPIs on cost efficiency, service levels, delivery timelines, supplier performance, inventory turns, and working capital.
\n\t\tDrive continuous improvement through data-driven performance management.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field;
\n\tMaster\u2019s Degree is an added advantage;
\n\tExperience working in the Print Media\/Out of Home Marketing Mandatory;
\n\tMinimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in supply chain, procurement and logistics, with at least 5 years in a senior management role;
\n\tStrong experience in international sourcing, imports, clearing and forwarding;
\n\tProfessional qualification (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP or equivalent) is mandatory;<\/p>\n
