Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSupport mechanical design through CAD modelling of parts and sub-assemblies.
\n\tPrepare simple 2D drawings and update existing documentation.
\n\tAssist in concept development and iterations of product components, hardware testing Jigs, and fixtures.
\n\tActively support prototype fabrication (3D Printing, Sheet metal, Laser cutting, and assembly).
\n\tSupport and participate in Lab testing activities (mechanical & performance testing).
\n\tHelp organise design files, revisions, and BOM updates.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tRecent graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
\n\tWorking knowledge of SolidWorks (Parts, Assemblies, Drawings).
\n\tBasic Understanding of DFM principles and manufacturing processes (sheet metal forming, injection moulding, 3D Printing).
\n\tComfortable working in a prototyping environment with basic workshop tools and equipment.
\n\tMust present evidence of practical design projects (e.g., Final Year Project or personal builds) beyond theoretical coursework.
\n\tAbility to manage assigned tasks and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
\n\tFluent in English with good documentation skills.
\n\tStrong mechanical aptitude and interest in product development.
\n\tExposure to workshops, labs, or Makerspaces.
\n\tDetail-oriented and consistent in following instructions.
\n\tProactive, reliable, and able to incorporate feedback quickly.
\n\tCurious and eager to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.<\/p>\n
