To ensure that the organization operates in full compliance with applicable Kenyan laws, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Regulatory Compliance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with relevant Kenyan laws, regulatory bodies, and industry guidelines.
\n\tMonitor changes in legislation and advise management on regulatory updates.
\n\tLiaise with regulators and external stakeholders during inspections and audits.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Policy Development & Implementation<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
\n\tEnsure policies align with statutory requirements and best practices.
\n\tPromote awareness of compliance obligations across departments.<\/p>\n
Risk Assessment & Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tIdentify compliance risks and recommend mitigation measures.
\n\tConduct compliance reviews and internal audits.
\n\tTrack corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Documentation<\/p>\n
\tPrepare compliance reports for management and the Board.
\n\tMaintain proper records of regulatory filings, licenses, and statutory submissions.
\n\tReport non-compliance incidents and recommend remedial action.<\/p>\n
Training & Advisory<\/p>\n
\tConduct staff training on compliance policies and ethical standards.
\n\tProvide advisory support to departments on regulatory matters.
\n\tPromote a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Bachelor\u2019s in hospital administration, Occupational health and safety, quality improvement, or related field
\n\tMinimum of 3 years experience especially in a healthcare setting
\n\tUnderstanding of legal compliance for Hospital eg. Public Health Act, OSHA etc
\n\tComputer knowledge technical report writing, data analysis
\n\tStrong knowledge of Kenyan regulatory environment.
\n\tAnalytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tHigh level of integrity and confidentiality.
\n\tExcellent report writing and communication skills.
\n\tAttention to detail and ability to work independently.
\n\tStrong stakeholder management skills.<\/p>\n
