About the role<\/p>\n
\tBURN is looking for a\u00a0Learning & Development (L&D) Training Lead who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organisation\u2019s learning strategy to enhance employee capability, performance, and engagement. The role will drive training initiatives aligned with business objectives, ensure effective delivery of learning programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tCreate, modify, customise, and maintain content to achieve business goals.
\n\tConceptualise and design behavioural programs across levels of employees, leadership building by calendarizing regular soft-skills sessions and management training.
\n\tWork with line Managers across the team to determine areas of focus, gaps and upskilling and reskilling areas required by the business teams. Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.
\n\tImplement and suggest an effective L&D communication plan and strategy to manage participants’ lifecycle (registration, cancellation, logistics and database management)
\n\tManage and own the learning management system, its usage, reporting and maximise user learning.
\n\tEnsure compliance with Learning and Development policy.
\n\tDesign and structure learning courses, career plans, and workshops.
\n\tCompetency framework & implementation.
\n\tVendor Management & Learning budget, Track budgets and negotiating contracts.
\n\tCreate and maintain processes to monitor the health and effectiveness of training interactions and the return on investment for the business.
\n\tLiaise with external partners as needed for technical training.
\n\tGather feedback from trainees and trainers after each session.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tA bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, management, or a related field is required.
\n\t5- 7 years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related field.
\n\tFamiliarity with learning principles, instructional design, and learning methodologies.
\n\tFamiliarity with the latest trends and technologies in the learning and development field is beneficial.
\n\tStrong leadership and management skills are crucial for overseeing a team and driving performance improvement initiatives.
\n\tExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
\n\tThe ability to analyse performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
\n\tIHRM Membership.<\/p>\n
