The Stewarding Supervisor oversees the stewarding team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across kitchens and food service areas. This role safeguards food safety compliance, supports kitchen operations, and maintains equipment and inventory while leading and motivating the stewarding team.<\/p>\n
\tSupervise cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, floors, and back-of-house areas.
\n\tEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.
\n\tConduct routine inspections and corrective actions where necessary.
\n\tMaintain proper waste management and recycling practices
\n\tMonitor availability and condition of cleaning supplies and equipment.
\n\tCoordinate repairs or replacements.
\n\tEnsure safe storage and proper use of chemicals.
\n\tEnforce safety procedures to prevent accidents.
\n\tEnsure chemical handling compliance.
\n\tParticipate in audits and inspections.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tCertificate or diploma in hospitality or related field preferred.
\n\t2\u20134 years stewarding experience, with supervisory exposure.
\n\tKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
\n\tLeadership and team management skills.
\n\tGood communication and organizational ability.
\n\tAbility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.<\/p>\n
