We\u2019re looking for a hybrid Business Analyst \/ Project Manager who will act as a bridge between our business and technology teams, translating real-world needs into clear technical requirements and driving execution.
\n\tYou\u2019ll work closely with cross-functional teams, gather and define business requirements, define project scopes, map workflows, and turn complex ideas into actionable plans. From organising team priorities to tracking milestones and clearing roadblocks, you\u2019ll guide projects end-to-end while keeping everyone aligned and informed.
\n\tPlease note this role requires the candidate to be onsite at our headquarters in Nairobi.<\/p>\n
What You\u2019ll Do:<\/p>\n
\tAct as the glue between business and technology teams.
\n\tEngage with stakeholders to capture needs, challenges and goals.
\n\tConvert high-level business goals into clear specifications for technology
\n\tand data teams.
\n\tMap workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
\n\tServe as the point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and understanding.
\n\tSupport light project management – track progress, manage dependencies, and help keep delivery on schedule.
\n\tFacilitate communication across stakeholders, provide updates, and ensure everyone is aware of priorities, decisions, and next steps.<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/p>\n
\t4+ years in business analysis, project management, or a similar role – primarily within a technology-driven environment.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree\/PhD in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (ability to translate business needs to technical requirements is required). Advanced degrees are a plus. Significant industry experience will be considered in place of a degree.
\n\tProven ability to gather and document requirements, create user stories, and manage product backlogs.
\n\tFamiliarity with business process mapping, software development processes, workflow design, and defining requirements.
\n\tComfortable working with technology and data teams.<\/p>\n
