\tStrategic & Operational Leadership.
\n\tDevelop and implement workshop operational strategy aligned to company objectives.
\n\tLead planning and scheduling of all maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and fabrication works.
\n\tDrive operational efficiency, productivity optimization, and turnaround time improvements.
\n\tEstablish KPIs and performance dashboards for workshop operations.
\n\tFinancial & Commercial Oversight.
\n\tControl costs relating to labor, spares, consumables, and external contractors.
\n\tApprove procurement requests for tools, equipment, and spare parts.
\n\tMonitor asset utilization and lifecycle management.
\n\tTechnical Governance.
\n\tEnsure adherence to technical standards, manufacturer guidelines, and best practice maintenance frameworks.
\n\tOversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
\n\tApprove technical solutions for complex repairs and breakdowns.
\n\tEnsure quality control processes are implemented and documented.
\n\tPeople Management & Capability Development.
\n\tLead, coach, and supervise workshop supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
\n\tConduct performance management, succession planning, and skills development initiatives.
\n\tEnforce discipline, productivity standards, and accountability structures.
\n\tIdentify training needs and ensure technical upskilling of the team.
\n\tHealth, Safety & Compliance
\n\tEnsure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
\n\tChampion a zero-incident safety culture within the workshop.
\n\tConduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
\n\tEnsure statutory compliance and proper documentation.
\n\tStakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
\n\tLiaise with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Fleet teams to ensure seamless workflow.
\n\tProvide technical reports to senior management.
\n\tSupport external audits and regulatory inspections.<\/p>\n
Profile<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
\n\tMinimum 6\u20139 years workshop experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
\n\tStrong knowledge of fleet\/equipment maintenance systems<\/p>\n
