Responsibilities<\/p>\n
The regular driver shall perform the following duties when engaged:<\/p>\n
\tProvide safe, timely, and professional transportation services for SNV staff, visitors, and consultants.
\n\tDrive to project sites and field locations, often under different conditions and terrains, while ensuring the safety of all passengers.
\n\tEnsure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained at all times.
\n\tConduct routine checks and report any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
\n\tVerify and maintain the validity of the vehicle\u2019s insurance, inspection certificates, and other statutory documents.
\n\tCarry out basic mechanical repairs, refuelling, and other routine servicing tasks as required.
\n\tAccurately maintain the vehicle logbook\/work ticket, recording daily mileage, fuel usage, and service history.
\n\tAdhere to SNV policies and procedures as well as code of conduct.
\n\tUndertake office errands, such as deliveries and pick-ups, when requested.
\n\tReport any accidents, incidents, or violations involving the vehicle immediately to the relevant SNV staff.
\n\tPerform any other driving or logistical duties as may be reasonably assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n

Basic Requirements<\/p>\n
\tKCSE level of education, with a good command of English and Swahili
\n\tClean driving licence with over 5 years driving experience
\n\tBasic computer skills
\n\tBasic mechanical skills
\n\tDefensive driving an added advantage<\/p>\n
