CITAM Seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of Head of Programmes. He\/she shall provide strategic and spiritual leadership to the Social Action (SAA) Unit, ensuring alignment with the Vision & Mission of Christ Is The Answer Ministries while advancing Christ-centered community transformation.<\/p>\n
The position reports to the Director for Administration.<\/p>\n
Key duties and responsibilities:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Strategic Leadership & Institutional Positioning<\/p>\n
\tProvide strategic direction and positioning of the SAA department within the broader ministry framework.
\n\tEnsure full alignment of SAA programmes with the Church\u2019s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
\n\tIntegrate social action priorities into the overall ministry strategy to enhance impact and visibility.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Policy Development & Governance<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and operationalize SAA policies, systems, and procedures that align with ministry objectives and donor compliance requirements, best practices and standards.
\n\tStrengthen governance, risk management, and accountability frameworks.<\/p>\n
Programmes Development & Implementation<\/p>\n
\tLead the design and execution of faith-based community development and empowerment initiatives.
\n\tCoordinate closely with assembly leadership to deliver Christ-centered and holistic social action programmes.
\n\tEnsure programmes quality, effectiveness, and sustainability across all intervention areas.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tCultivate and manage strategic partnerships with faith-based institutions, government agencies and other community stakeholders.
\n\tBuild collaborative engagements with like-minded organizations to enhance delivery of programmes and expand outreach and impact.<\/p>\n
Resource Mobilization & Donor Engagement<\/p>\n
\tLead diverse donor engagement and funding initiatives.
\n\tDevelop strategic resource mobilization frameworks to ensure programmes sustainability and growth.<\/p>\n
Financial Stewardship & Accountability<\/p>\n
\tOversee programmes budgeting processes and ensure prudent stewardship of resources.
\n\tEstablish and enforce financial accountability systems consistent with ministry and donor requirements.<\/p>\n
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tEstablish robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems to track performance, outcomes, and long-term impact.
\n\tProvide executive oversight of M&E functions to ensure data-driven decision-making.
\n\tPrepare high-level reports for donors, church leadership, and governance structures.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership & Organizational Development<\/p>\n
\tLead, supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of the Social Action team.
\n\tFoster a high-performance, values-driven culture rooted in servant leadership and excellence.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Requirements and\u00a0Qualifications\u00a0<\/p>\n
Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in international development, Community Development, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, or a related field
\n\tAn MBA in a relevant field or Theological training will be an added advantage.
\n\tAt least eight (8) years of progressive experience in a comparable leadership role.
\n\tProven leadership capability with formal leadership training.
\n\tStrong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
\n\tExperience working within a para-church or faith-based organization is be highly desirable.<\/p>\n
