Key Responsibilities <\/p>\n
Capacity Building & Training Design<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and deliver training modules and learning resources tailored to field teams
\n\tCo-design leadership and peer supporter training with local focal points
\n\tBuild regional networks of practice to sustain learning and collaboration<\/p>\n
Field Engagement & Partnership Development<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with regional\/national offices to contextualize global frameworks
\n\tSupport staff care integration into field strategies and emergency preparedness
\n\tStrengthen local ownership via partnership with P&C and field leadership<\/p>\n
Knowledge Sharing & Peer Learning<\/p>\n
\tFacilitate communities of practice across regions
\n\tDocument and share field-led innovations and lessons
\n\tPromote South\u2013South learning and cross-regional exchanges<\/p>\n
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)<\/p>\n
\tTrack capacity-building efforts and uptake of staff care practices
\n\tCollect feedback to refine approaches and materials
\n\tContribute data to Theory of Change indicators and organizational reporting
\n\tSelf-directed learning to maintain currency on industry trends, research, practices and key actors in training, communications, and staff well-being.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with SSR, Risk, and Emergency Management on field integration
\n\tEngage Comms and HR on awareness materials and training rollouts<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES<\/p>\n
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree (or above) in: Employee Well-being, Psychology, Sociology, Training, Adult Learning, or significant work experience in these disciplines.\u00a0
\n\tProfessional Certifications and Professional Memberships considered an advantage.
\n\tMinimum 7 years\u2019 experience in organizational development, capacity building, or humanitarian staff care
\n\tProven experience developing and delivering training in multicultural settings
\n\tExperience building partnerships across field, regional, and global levels
\n\tAbility to adapt frameworks to diverse cultural and operational contexts
\n\tFluency in English, fluency in additional languages considered an advantage<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of humanitarian contexts, cultural dynamics, and staff care challenges and practices.
\n\tFamiliarity with adult learning methodologies and coaching.
\n\tExperience managing peer support or field-based psychosocial initiatives.
\n\tMultilingual capacity strongly preferred.
\n\tProven advising capabilities with the ability to influence widely across a diverse international organisation.
\n\tSkillful communicator with advanced influencing skills that can transcend boundaries and work effectively across all levels of a complex organization.
\n\tAbility to operate effectively and responsively in a fast changing, ambiguous environment, and deal with high pressure situations calmly and with energy and resilience while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
\n\tAbility to work well independently; a motivated self-starter, with good initiative and problem-solving skills
\n\tStrong ability for critical thinking, displaying proactive and innovative approaches to work streams.
\n\tStrong coaching and consulting competences.<\/p>\n
Travel and Work Environment Requirement<\/p>\n
\tUp to 20%, dependent on Partnership Travel Guidelines.
\n\tAbility to work regularly outside of business hours sometimes in hazardous conditions.<\/p>\n
