\tManage the Customs and Excise activities in Diageo\u2019s footprint in East Africa, covering Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
\n\tExecute Customs and Excise strategies and policies in East Africa.<\/p>\n
Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide specialist support with customs issues in East Africa \u2013 for example, product classification disputes (both customs and excise), Customs Valuation and Inter-Company Selling Price (ICSP) reviews.
\n\tManage Customs and Excise related queries from the customs and excise authorities relating to imported products and raw materials used by East Africa.
\n\tManage Customs and Excise aspects of international trade projects to deliver shareholder value and manage potentials exposure to the business in East Africa.
\n\tProvide technical support with respect to addressing inefficiencies and driving process improvement within the Customs and Excise arena.
\n\tRecommend and implement changes to optimize processes, systems, policies, and procedures.
\n\tKeep up to date with customs and excise regulatory changes and best practice; identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions.

\n\tData analytics skills (Power Query\/BI etc.), ideally with systems experience in SAP or equivalent
\n\tEffective project management and implementation skills
\n\tTeam player with experience working across diverse cultures
