Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Quality & Product Integrity<\/p>\n
\tOversee raw material intake checks (quality, moisture, defects).
\n\tAuthorize product holds and release of compliant batches.
\n\tManage in-process quality control (cracking, sorting, drying) and grading of finished kernels.
\n\tEnforce sensory testing to detect rancidity or off-flavors.<\/p>\n
Sanitation & Hygiene Management<\/p>\n
\tOwn and enforce the Master Sanitation Schedule (daily, weekly, monthly cleaning).
\n\tManage cleaning chemicals (food-grade use, correct dilution, safe storage).
\n\tEnforce zoning controls between raw and packing areas to prevent cross-contamination.
\n\tOversee environmental monitoring (ATP swabs, pathogen testing).
\n\tApprove pre-operational line clearance before production starts and verify proper shutdown and cleaning after shifts.<\/p>\n
Materials & Cost Control<\/p>\n
\tOversee quality checks for packaging and processing aids.
\n\tMonitor usage of detergents, PPE, and consumables to prevent waste or stockouts.<\/p>\n
Team Management<\/p>\n
\tManage 10\u201330 QA and Sanitation contractors.
\n\tSupervise inspectors and cleaners to ensure accuracy and compliance.
\n\tProvide training on hygiene, chemical safety, sampling, and quality standards.
\n\tEnsure QA coverage on all production lines and supervise clean-ups.<\/p>\n

\tMinimum academic Qualification: A minimum of a diploma in food science or food technology
\n\tKnowledge of quality standards: Must have ISO 22000 experience, HACCP, FSSC 20000, BRC,\u00a0
\n\tProven team management experience.
\n\tStrong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/p>\n
