{"id":91765,"date":"2026-03-04T10:02:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T10:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/director-specialist-sales-services-business-development\/"},"modified":"2026-03-04T10:02:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T10:02:43","slug":"director-specialist-sales-services-business-development","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/director-specialist-sales-services-business-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Director, Specialist Sales, Services Business Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tSales Strategy &amp; Execution: Lead the sales efforts for loyalty platforms, solutions, and card benefits, with a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.<br \/>\n\tClient Engagement &amp; Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries, including issuers and merchants, to sell and promote our diverse range of loyalty products.<br \/>\n\tPlatform &amp; Solution Sales: Understand and articulate the technical aspects of our loyalty platforms and solutions to clients, guiding them through platform and product implementations and customer journey strategies.<br \/>\n\tStakeholder Management: Navigate and manage complex environments with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.<br \/>\n\tConsultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying their business needs and providing tailored loyalty and card benefits solutions.<br \/>\n\tCommunication Skills: Ability to simplify technical details for non-technical stakeholders and clearly explain the platform\u2019s value.<br \/>\n\tMarket Analysis &amp; Reporting: Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings, sharing insights to help refine sales strategies.<br \/>\n\tMulti-tasking &amp; Prioritization: Efficiently manage multiple client accounts, sales opportunities, and projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>Key Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tEducation: Undergraduate degree required; MBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended.<br \/>\n\tExperience: 7 to 10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in selling technology solutions, ideally in loyalty programs, within Financial Services, Digital \/ Retail \/ Consumer\/ B2B \/ sectors.<br \/>\n\tMarket experience: Extensive knowledge and experience of business development within the MEA region with established network across the region<br \/>\n\tLanguage Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic is a must, with excellent communication and presentation skills in both languages.<br \/>\n\tTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of loyalty platforms, digital technologies, marketing services, and platform implementation processes.<br \/>\n\tComplex Environment Management: Ability to navigate a multi-stakeholder environment, ensuring alignment and managing expectations from both clients and internal teams.<br \/>\n\tConsulting &amp; Technology Experience (Preferred): A background in consulting or technology would be highly beneficial, particularly in understanding customer-facing solutions and financial services.
