Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accuracy in all financial reporting procedures
\n\tEnsure the accounts receivable and the company\u2019s financial obligations are met efficiently
\n\tTrain, mentor and supervise Accounts Receivable Team Members
\n\tOversee the accounts receivable process, including the creation and distribution of customer invoices and ensure accurate and timely billing.
\n\tHandle incoming customer payments, post payments accurately in the accounting system and reconcile discrepancies.
\n\tMonitor overdue accounts, contact customers for outstanding payments, and maintain communication to resolve outstanding issues.
\n\tAssess customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits, while continuously evaluating and updating credit terms.
\n\tRegularly reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
\n\tPrepare and maintain accounts receivable reports, aging analyses, and financial data for management and reporting purposes.
\n\tIdentify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency in the accounts receivable function.
\n\tProvide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
\n\tMaintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
\n\tReviews files to identify delinquent accounts; drafts correspondence for past-due accounts and collections, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment
\n\tWork closely with the accounting team, sales, and other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and accurate financial reporting.
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
\n\tCompile data and schedules required for reviews, audits and tax filings
\n\tProvide support on ad-hoc projects and reporting requests
\n\tOther related duties as assigned<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n\t5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
\n\tStrong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
\n\tGeneral Ledger accounting and sub ledgers reconciliation experience
\n\tAbility to learn and operate multiple systems as needed and work in a team environment
\n\tPossess the organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
\n\tExcellent managerial and leadership skills
\n\tProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
\n\tAbility to work independently and in a team.
\n\tPrior experience in credit management and collections is a plus.
\n\tMust have substantial ERP AR system experience, Microsoft Business Central expense is preferred
\n\tKnowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.<\/p>\n
