Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Regional Auditor & Internal Controller, the candidate will be responsible to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control system of the organization with specific tasks as:-<\/p>\n
\tControl and ensure that all Group procedures are applied correctly (financial and operational process)
\n\tVerify all accounting process (treasury, customers, suppliers, etc.)
\n\tControl operations process (transporters validation, etc.)
\n\tControl of all documents\/signatures
\n\tControl the task segregation and all suppliers IT access
\n\tEnsure all expenses are accounted for
\n\tEnsure full recoveries are made by operations
\n\tFile analysis (margin per file, customer, etc.)
\n\tControl disbursements in the system and ensure files are in order (billing, documentation in place, etc.)
\n\tAnalyze credit note files
\n\tControl stock taking
\n\tLiaise with external auditors and follow up their recommendations
\n\tEnsure compliance with Tax regulations and other statutory requirements
\n\tConduct financial and systems audit and ascertain their completeness, effectiveness, and reliability.<\/p>\n
