About the Role<\/p>\n
The Supply Chain Intern will support demand planning by analyzing parts usage data, optimizing stock re-order thresholds, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure operational continuity. This position requires strong data analysis and management skills, along with a proactive, curious, and growth-oriented mindset. This role reports directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain and Procurement and offers significant growth opportunities as BasiGo continues to scale.<\/p>\n

Position Summary and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDemand Planning:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\tAnalyze parts usage data and on-the-ground feedback from operational teams to continually optimize stock re-order threshold levels.\u00a0
\n\t\tMonitor on-hand stock data against stock re-order thresholds.
\n\t\tUpdating OEM part numbers in the company\u2019s platforms<\/p>\n
\tOrdering & Monitoring<\/p>\n
\t\tDraft Purchase Orders in company\u2019s CRM for standard replenishment and ad-hoc procurement.
\n\t\tMonitor items ordered and flag delays in sourcing
\n\t\tDraft feedback reports for suppliers on outstanding items and account credits<\/p>\n
\tResearching New Suppliers and Products<\/p>\n
\t\tSupport in visiting new potential vendors and researching new potential brands for parts.<\/p>\n
\tSupporting HoD and team on assorted daily tasks, as needed<\/p>\n
Our ideal candidate would have:<\/p>\n
Required Experience & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Management or related discipline.
\n\tExperience in the automotive industry is an added advantage.
\n\tExperience using Odoo CRM is an added advantage<\/p>\n
