What you will do<\/p>\n
\tProvide leadership to technicians by showing them how installations\u00a0are\u00a0done, motivate them by addressing their issues which they\u00a0encounter\u00a0during installations in the\u00a0branch.\u00a0
\n\tEstablish a mechanism on how technicians will be trained on new ways of doing installation to avoid cases of\u00a0devices\u00a0going offline.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure technicians have enough\u00a0devices\u00a0during\u00a0installations\/re-installations to avoid delays.\u00a0
\n\tAttend to technicians on technical matters during installations\u00a0and sort out any\u00a0challenges.\u00a0
\n\tTrain technicians\u00a0on\u00a0new methods of doing installations\u00a0to reduce offline.\u00a0
\n\tAlways hold meetings with technicians and\u00a0come up with\u00a0solutions\u00a0on how to reduce\u00a0offline cases and how to improve the quality of installations.\u00a0
\n\tAlways\u00a0ensure technicians have all the required installations tools\u00a0
\n\tEnsure\u00a0timely\u00a0submission of offline reports to your supervisor for action.\u00a0
\n\tAt least once in two months to re-train technician on installations and approve his skill for future installations.\u00a0
\n\tTo give or take away approvals for technicians to do\u00a0installations\u00a0work.\u00a0
\n\tTo perform any other duty assigned<\/p>\n
What you will need<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in device installation, technical field operations, or related hands-on technical role would be an added advantage for this role.
\n\tProven experience in supervising or leading field technicians
\n\tStrong technical knowledge of installation processes and device troubleshooting.
\n\tAbility to train, mentor, and evaluate technician competency and performance.
\n\tGood problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues promptly.
\n\tStrong organizational and reporting skills, including experience preparing operational reports.
\n\tAbility to plan, coordinate, and ensure availability of installation tools and devices.
\n\tStrong communication and leadership skills.
\n\tHigh level of integrity, accountability, and attention to quality standards.<\/p>\n
