Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for supporting and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives in a manufacturing environment. The role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance,payroll coordination, and ensuring smooth HR operations within the factory setup.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Recruitment & Selection<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate end-to-end recruitment processes.
\n\tAdvertise vacancies, shortlist candidates, and conduct interviews.
\n\tFacilitate onboarding and induction for new employees.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations<\/p>\n
\tHandle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
\n\tPrepare show cause letters, warning letters, and disciplinary documentation.
\n\tSupport conflict resolution and maintain harmonious employee relations.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
\n\t\u00a0Monitor probation confirmations and contract renewals.
\n\t\u00a0Support supervisors in managing employee performance issues.<\/p>\n
Payroll & Benefits Administration<\/p>\n
\tPrepare payroll inputs including overtime, leave, and deductions.
\n\tEnsure statutory deductions are processed accurately.
\n\tMaintain employee benefits records.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Labor Laws<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with labor laws and manufacturing regulations.
\n\tMaintain updated employee records and statutory documentation.
\n\tLiaise with relevant regulatory bodies when required.<\/p>\n
HR Administration<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Maintain up-to-date employee files and HR systems.
\n\t\u00a0Manage leave records and attendance tracking.
\n\t\u00a0Prepare HR reports as required.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management or Diploma in Human Resource Management.
\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in a similar HR role.
\n\tMust have experience working in a manufacturing industry.
\n\tMembership with a relevant professional HR body (added advantage).
\n\tStrong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.
\n\tAbility to handle confidential information with integrity.
\n\tProficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n
