The Clearance and Administrative Officer\u2019s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSort, organize and ensure that all documents relating to Government Supplies Import Permits (GSIP) and Tax exemption applications are submitted by USG and other donor agencies. \u00a0
\n\tMethodically and systematically, file copies of all Government Supplies Import Permits and Authorization letters. \u00a0
\n\tDigitally file all documents submitted to aid the application of permits, tax exemptions as well as the permits and authorization letters relating to the specific applications. \u00a0
\n\tFacilitate customs clearance of USG procured commodities by inputting batch numbers per invoice in the Kentrade system using MOH account as required by the Pharmacy and poisons board.
\n\tPrepare monthly reports on all Government Supplies Import Permits requests, Authorization letters and treasury Tax exemption letters. \u00a0
\n\tTrack all Government Supplies Import Permits requests, authorization letters, endorsed bills of lading and the National Treasury duty free Notification (DFN) for KRA tax waiver processing to ensure that USG procured commodities are cleared in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
