As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for a school based in Mukuru-ini, Nyeri, our client is looking for a librarian who will be responsible for setting up and organizing a school library, maintaining accurate records of all books, guiding students on reading practices, and fostering a strong reading culture among learners.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tOrganize and manage the school library.
\n\tMaintain records for all the library resources.
\n\tMonitor the borrowing and returns of library materials.
\n\tMentor and guide students in the selection of reading materials.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure a clean and organized library environment at all times
\n\tSubmission of monthly reports on library activities.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of a Diploma in Library Science or Information Science or a related course.
\n\tExcellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
\n\tPassionate about working with students<\/p>\n
