Role Overview<\/p>\n
As a Senior Area Manager, you will be the face of the ECORIC brand in Kenya\u2019s most productive agricultural zones. You are not just selling a product; you are providing a high-tech sustainable solution to the country\u2019s leading flower exporters and tea estates. This role requires a strategic “Hunter” mindset with deep technical roots in Integrated Pest Management (IPM).<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tStrategic Market Penetration: Lead the aggressive growth of ECORIC biofungicides within the Floriculture (Naivasha\/Mt. Kenya) and Tea (Kericho\/Limuru) sectors.
\n\tKey Account Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with Farm Managers and Production Directors of Tier-1 estates.
\n\tTechnical Field Excellence: Execute high-impact product demonstrations and field trials to prove efficacy against key pathogens.
\n\tMarketing Leadership: Design and lead regional field days, exhibitions, and technical seminars to position ECORIC as a market leader in sustainable farming.
\n\tIntelligence & Strategy: Provide real-time market feedback to the international team to refine pricing and product positioning.<\/p>\n
Requirements & Skills<\/p>\n
\tExperience: Minimum 7+ years of proven sales success in the Kenyan agrochemical sector (specifically Flowers\/Tea).
\n\tNetwork: A pre-established, active database of large-scale growers and distributors in the target regions.
\n\tTechnical Expertise: Strong mastery of Biofungicides, Crop Protection (CP), and Plant Nutrition. Knowledge of Global G.A.P. and export standards is mandatory.
\n\tMobility: Must possess a valid driving license, car and a willingness for extensive regional travel.
\n\tEducation: Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, or Agribusiness (Post-graduate levels preferred).
\n\tSoft Skills: Exceptional negotiation power and the ability to work autonomously with an international reporting line.<\/p>\n
Target Regions<\/p>\n
Focus on high-value clusters: Lake Naivasha, Mt. Kenya region (Timau, Nanyuki), Nakuru, Kericho, Trans Nzoia, and the Kiambu\/Thika corridor.<\/p>\n
What We Offer<\/p>\n
Full-time hybrid role, salary from KSh 150,000 + commission, with fuel and communication expenses covered.<\/p>\n
