Qualifications, Experience, and knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tAn LL. B Degree with at least Second-Class Upper Division from a recognized university.
\n\tAt least Five (5) years \u2013 Seven (7) years of relevant post-admission experience in a reputable law firm.
\n\tProven ability to manage client matters independently, including supervision of junior lawyers.
\n\tProven experience in corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and commercial transactions.
\n\tExpertise in entity set-up and registration (local and cross-border), corporate governance, and company secretarial support.
\n\tStrong advisory experience in regulatory compliance, licensing, and sector-specific frameworks such as financial services, real estate, ICT, and energy.
\n\tAdvise clients on a broad range of commercial law matters including contract law, company law, energy, mining, projects and PPPs, capital markets, M&A, employment, and regulatory compliance.
\n\tDraft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including shareholders\u2019 agreements, joint ventures, service agreements, procurement contracts, and technology contracts.
\n\tUndertake legal due diligence processes, deal structuring, and execution of corporate transactions.
\n\tProvide strategic legal advisory on employment matters, data protection, ESG, and anti-bribery compliance.
\n\tStrong knowledge and practical experience in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and Fintech.
\n\tAdvise on structuring of businesses including family-owned-businesses, multinationals, not- for- profit organizations etc.
\n\tSupport business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
\n\tPassionate and enthusiastic about the law and its developments.<\/p>\n
