Qualifications, Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management, or related field.
\n\tCertifications in ISO, HACCP, GMP, or Quality Management Systems are an added advantage.
\n\t5-8 years of QA\/QC experience in manufacturing, food, animal feed, veterinary, or FMCG industries.
\n\tExperience handling KEBS compliance, product certification, inspections, and audits.
\n\tStrong knowledge of Kenyan regulatory standards and quality systems.
\n\tLeadership experience managing QA\/QC teams.
\n\tStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tQuality Systems & Compliance: Develop and manage QA\/QC systems, SOPs, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with KEBS and other Kenyan regulatory requirements. Oversee product testing, certification processes, and quality control of raw materials, production, and finished products.
\n\tAudits & Quality Improvement: Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective actions, investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, and implement improvements to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.
\n\tTeam Leadership & Coordination: Supervise the QA\/QC team and work closely with production and procurement teams to maintain consistent quality standards and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n
