The Centralized Monitoring Lead (CML) provides leadership and oversight for centralized monitoring activities across assigned studies. Working closely with project teams, the CML ensures high\u2011quality clinical delivery, risk management, issue escalation, and compliance with ICH\u2011GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. This role drives centralized review strategies, supports analytics and study management plans, and guides clinical and technical teams to ensure subject safety, data integrity, and timely project execution.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead and oversee centralized monitoring activities and clinical deliverables across assigned studies.
\n\tManage study oversight from start\u2011up to closeout, including risk assessment, mitigation planning, and operational issue resolution.
\n\tReview site and study metrics, trends, KRIs, and data alerts, and implement corrective actions as needed.
\n\tSupport development of monitoring strategies, analytics plans, and study management tools.
\n\tOversee subject\u2011level data review quality and ensure audit\u2011ready documentation.
\n\tServe as primary contact for assigned deliverables and collaborate with cross\u2011functional teams (CRAs, CTAs, CMS, project management).
\n\tProvide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to centralized monitoring staff and technical solution specialists.
\n\tSupport finance\u2011related study activities, investigator payments, audits, and inspections.
\n\tEnsure compliance with protocol, regulatory requirements, and central monitoring plans.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in life sciences, clinical sciences or related field.
\n\tMinimum 3-5 years of relevant clinical research experience.
\n\tStrong knowledge of ICH\u2011GCP, clinical trial conduct, and clinical systems.
\n\tStrong communication skills including good command of English language
\n\tProven leadership, communication, and problem\u2011solving skills.
\n\tAbility to manage multiple projects, teams, and priorities in a global environment.
\n\tStrong therapeutic, protocol, and data\u2011review expertise; detail\u2011oriented with strong quality focus<\/p>\n
