Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
The BDM will be responsible for growing the corporate medical business profitably, meeting set annual premium targets, and ensuring the successful management of client relationships, tenders, and scheme set-ups.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrow medical business against set targets both in new business and retention.
\n\tEnhance relationships with corporate clients.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure timely submission of quotations and tenders.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure proper set up of new and renewed schemes.\u00a0
\n\tAssist in pricing of the various products and schemes.\u00a0
\n\tAdvise on terms of cover to enable proper underwriting and claims processing.\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate presentations to scheme members e.g. health talks, medical camps.\u00a0
\n\tAssist in product development to ensure that products are relevant.\u00a0
\n\tDelegated Authority: \u00a0As per the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.
\n\tPerform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor of Commerce degree (marketing option preferred).\u00a0
\n\tProfessional qualification in Insurance (ACII , FLMI, or IIK).\u00a0
\n\tAt least 6-8 years\u2019 experience in insurance sales 3 \u2013 4 \u00a0of which should be in a supervisory position.\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of insurance regulatory requirements.\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of insurance products.
\n\tSales and marketing management skills.<\/p>\n
